Notes:

1. If you have Call Waiting service on your phone line please deactivate it before making an internet type call by setting up dialing properties with one of the following:  *70, with pushbutton dialing, or 1170, if you don't have pushbutton dialing service or check with your local telephone Company (telco) for their code. Cancel Call Waiting (CCW) is furnished with Call Waiting service by South Central at no additional charge. Check with your telco business office to see if you have the Cancel Call Waiting option on your line. CW tone may cause data errors or cutoffs from Internet if you don't cancel it and receive a phone call at same time you are using the internet service.

2. Remember that it is your responsibility to use the correct 10-digit local access number without access code for your location(s) and if you program and/or if your equipment completes the call via long distance service (1+ 10-digit, etc.) you are responsible for any and all charges. TIP: Some new PCs being sold in local area stores may be programmed with other nationwide or regional ISP plan(s) offering free internet hours, etc for the 1st month as part of the equipment price but are in fact dialing a long distance access number not a local access number. You are responsible for all phone charges billed so use only Internet Service with the correct 10-digit local access number (no 1+ access code).
