This is Edmonson County
Fiber optic infrastructures for broadband communication services in rural communities across the United States have become a priority for state and federal governments over the past few years. In June of 2022, SCRTC was awarded grant funding to invest in Edmonson County. Construction officially began on March 13th, 2023 and should be completed in late fall/early winter of 2023. Our goal is to deploy fiber optic services to as much of the county as possible.
