If you’re too busy to answer the phone, this service routes your non-answered calls to voicemail or another number to take a message for you.
- Dial *68, then dial telephone number to which calls will be forwarded.
- If the local number just dial 10-digit number.
- If long distance number then dial 1+ 10-digit number.
- 2 beep tones will then be heard indicating the calls have been forwarded successfully.
- Then hang up.
To cancel call forwarding don’t answer:
- Dial *88, then listen for 3 beeps.
- Hang up.
(The standard amount of rings on call forwarding that don’t answer is 3. However, that can be changed by contacting your customer service representative.)
