If you’re too busy to answer the phone, this service routes your non-answered calls to voicemail or another number to take a message for you.
Dial *68, then dial telephone number to which calls will be forwarded.
If the local number just dial 10-digit number.
If long distance number then dial 1+ 10-digit number.
2 beep tones will then be heard indicating the calls have been forwarded successfully.
Then hang up.
To cancel call forwarding don’t answer:
Dial *88, then listen for 3 beeps.
Hang up.
(The standard amount of rings on call forwarding that don’t answer is 3. However, that can be changed by contacting your customer service representative.)
(A PIN programmed by South Central or as changed by you dialing the change pin code of *319 must be used with this feature.)
After entering call forward service activation code (Ex. *72) you will receive a stutter dial tone. At this time enter the 10-digit local phone number or 1 + 10-digit phone number if long distance. If completed correctly you should receive 2 beeps to indicate calls have been forwarded.
This feature allows the customer to put an existing call on hold. The line then becomes free to originate another call.
To activate:
Press a flash button or depress switchhook, and dial *90#.
The line then becomes free to originate another call.
After connecting you can then hit flash-hook again to switch back to the first call (putting the second call on hold), and again to switch between the 2 numbers.
