Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (Farmers RECC) and South Central Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (SCRTC) celebrated a new chapter in their longstanding partnership with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at their new co-located facility at 1000 Main Street in Munfordville.

The event brought together board members from both cooperatives, community leaders, employees, and local residents to commemorate the opening of the new location. Guests enjoyed refreshments, toured the facility, and heard remarks from cooperative leaders.

Jeff Eaton, General Manager and COO of SCRTC, welcomed attendees, introduced SCRTC employees and reflected on the strong partnership between the two cooperatives and their shared commitment to serving the community.

Following Eaton's remarks, Farmers RECC President and CEO Chuck Bishop introduced Farmers RECC employees and spoke about the importance of investing in local communities and adapting to meet the needs of cooperative members.

The new Munfordville Service Center provides members with an updated, accessible space and a new drive-thru for making payments, conducting business and receiving assistance. The facility enhances convenience for members while supporting both cooperatives' commitment to delivering exceptional service close to home.

SCRTC Customer Service includes: Marla Croghan, Susan Taylor, Katherine Dorsey, and Kylee White. Customer Service Supervisor is Glaine Percell.
