Metcalfe County High School graduate Benjamin Shirley, from Edmonton, received a $2,500 scholarship from the Foundation for Rural Service and SCRTC. The FRS Scholarship program presents one-time awards to students from across rural America for their first year of college, university, or vocational-technical school.
