In the early 1950s, phone calls were rare but precious. People waited for their turn as operators connected calls on a shared party line. Today, South Central Rural Telecommunications Cooperative proudly provides members with cutting-edge services that rival—or often outperform—those available in big cities.
On September 21, SCRTC, a nonprofit cooperative, celebrates 75 years of serving our community. We look forward to many more decades of providing our rural neighbors with high-speed fiber optic broadband internet, My Stream TV, and traditional telephone services.
