Zack Kender represents the Fountain Run, Gamaliel, and Lucas areas. A longtime resident of the Lucas community, he and his wife, Gail, have lived there for 51 years and have been married for 55 years. They have 1 daughter and 1 son. Zack began his career with the International Telephone and Telegraph Company in 1969, where he was employed for 5 years. In 1974, he began work as a contractor, working in the telephone industry for the next 24 years. He is the owner of Zack’s Market at Barren River State Park and serves on the Haywood Volunteer Fire Department Board.
